STRam™
Rapid Identification Through Opaque Barriers
The STRam™ can collect Raman signals even when generated underneath diffusive top layers. It can identify materials inside visually opaque barriers such as white plastic bottles, paper envelopes, tablet coatings, and other alike, which were previously impenetrable with Raman. Specialized adaptors can easily be attached for focused measurement directly on a sample.
This means less sample analysis time and procedures, and more sample integrity, once you do not need to open the containers or come in contact with the materials inside.
The STRam is the perfect merge of high throughput spectrometer, specialized sampling optics and advanced algorithms. The system design features a large sampling depth, sampling area and minimized power density, wich enables the measurement of challenging samples for conventional focused Raman spectroscopy. The STRam can also be used for biological or sensitive energetics samples. Its large spot size gives greater reproducibility of heterogeneous sample measurements.
