The SonTek-SL Current Meter is a simple way to measure water velocity and level in open channels. SonTek-SL has earned acceptance worldwide as a long-term monitoring solution for these applications. The Current Meter is designed specifically for side mounting on bridges, canal walls, or riverbanks as the SL’s sleek profile makes housing easier.


The SL3000 Current Meter is the smallest and most affordable of the SonTek SL range. The current meter is capable of small sample volumes and narrow channel dimensions as small as 0.5m (1.6ft). The SL3000 fits no matter how tight a space is and can collect precise data close to riverbanks. It is ideal for:
