The Heat Seal Gas PermASeal is a non-woven gas permeable that limits evaporation, is peelable, pierceable and suitable for cell culture, seed, and insect storage. These are heat-sealing sheets that come in a pack of 100 and are 125mm x 78mm. This heat-sealing has an effective method for plate sealing with complete seal integrity. It is also quick and cost friendly. The Gas PermASeal is made from non-woven material which designed specifically for use in cell culture due to the porous nature. It is compatible also with polypropylene and polystyrene plates. The seal can be removed by peeling it off or by piercing with a pipette tip manually or using a liquid handling robot. The Gas PermASeal Heat Seal can be used for effective overnight incubations where it demonstrates reductions in evaporation compared to lids. This heat seal can also be used for insect and seed storage to enable gas exchange while still providing an inert surface with no adhesive.
