The Heat Seal Gas PermASeal 2 is a peelable heat sealing film with gas permeable grid lacquer paper. It is suitable for insect studies and seed storage. These sterile heat-sealing sheets come in a pack of 100 and are 125mm x 78mm. The heat seal is a paper with a grid lacquer coating that is porous and gas permeable. It is compatible with polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, and cyclic olefin copolymer. The heat seal can be removed by peeling or being pierced with a pipette tip or liquid handling robot. It is a quick and cost friendly method of plate sealing with a temperature range of -20°C to 80°C. It allows for gas exchange which is why this can be used for insect and seed storage.
