An optimised, ready-to-use MasterMix that contains all PCR reaction components: dNTPs, PCR buffer, Mg2+ and Taq DNA polymerase.

Only primers and template need to be added. The convenient MasterMix (2x) formulation saves time and eliminates the risk of contamination due to a reduced number of pipetting steps required.

Horse-Power™ Taq DNA Polymerase is a pure, versatile and thermostable recombinant enzyme produced in an E. coli strain, which carries the cloned pol gene from Thermus aquaticus. The enzyme has 5’→3’ polymerase activity and a weak 5’→3’ exonuclease activity but no 3’→5’ exonuclease activity.
