GL Sciences has recently changed their Column Performance Report format and introduced a new packing box and label design.
GL Sciences is one of the leading companies specialising in the development and manufacture of high performance analytical instrumentation for gas chromatography systems. The company has recently changed their Column Performance Report format and introduced a new packing box and label design.
According to the change notification, the Column Performance Report format was modified to improve the HPLC column test workability. This report will now feature an additional bar code number, the y-axis scale and unit is now removed from the graph, and the Test Result description will include the concentration of subject compound and all the peaks’ retention time and K’ value, as well.
GL Sciences explains that the changes were made only on the performance report format, and that every single inspecting process remains the same as before, "there are absolutely no changes on the physical properties, performance and quality of each product."
The company has also introduced a new packing box and label design, for their HPLC columns. The most significant change is in the size of the new boxes, which are wider and smaller in height, to make storage and transport much easier. The box will be the same for all column lengths with a maximum I.D. of 6mm. According to the change notification from the company, the old design will first be depleted before sending the new design, but there might be some overlapping.
