The connections available allow introduction of media into the bottle or removal during mixing. The whole assembly is autoclavable, so that it can be used in biological applications, for example simple fermentation processes. With the aid of components from the DURAN® connection system extra media bottles can be attached, or a sterile pressure release fitted.
