In Gas Chromatography (GC) it is imperative to have accurate and reproducible gas flow measurements, otherwise it will be very hard to achieve good results and meet the requirements you need for your application.

The GF500 Flow Meter will help you eliminate errors in your results and accomplish not only accurate but repeatable measurements of Air, N2, H2, He, CO2, O2, Ar & CH4/Ar every time.

Made in the UK, the GF500 flow meter has a very compact pocket size design which allows for a better grip. Very intuitive and simple to use, it comes with an OLED screen (which displays flow measurements very clearly for easy reading) and a rechargeable battery.

How it Works?


The GF500 Flowmeter is suitable for all applications where you need to measure Gas Flow. All you need to do is to enter the temperature and pressure of your working application or environment. The GF500 flow meter will automatically compensate for these changes from its calibration conditions.

With the GF500 you can measure the eight most common gases in GC: Air, N2, H2, He, CO2, O2, Ar & CH4/Ar.

Also, with just a simple click of a button the operator can shift from Flow Measurement mode to Split Flow or Linear Velocity calculation modes, which will then be displayed on the screen.

For Split Flow Calculation: you measure and store a column flow and then measure the split flow. The GF500 will display the flow rate and the split ratio.

For Linear Velocity: you simply select the column diameter in the options menu and the GF500 will calculate and display the linear velocity. You can switch between Standard flow and Linear Velocity with a single button press.
