Using an ultra-efficient, infra-red heater of just 900 W power this hotplate stirrer will boil 1 litre of water over 30 % faster than a conventional ceramic hotplate of 1200 W. Ideal for heating and stirring large volumes of liquid, particularly microbiological media.
