Magnetic stirrers SHP-400-BS / SHP-400-WS

With heating. Magnetic stirrers with strong magnets and powerful motor for mixing large volumes. The advanced control algorithm automatically measures the rate of temperature rise to judge the capacity and nature of samples (e.g. oil or aqueous). It then optimises the heating rate to minimize overshoot and time to set point.

  • Spill-resistant front control panel with a chemically toughened glass for extra resilience
  • The set and actual temperature is shown on the display
  • Mains-independent warning light for surface temperatures above 50°C
  • Integrated fitting for a retort rod
  • Coated with BioCote® antimicrobial protection


Scope of supply: Magnetic stirrer, PT100 Temperature sensor
The ceramic coated aluminium top plate with a heated area of 150x150 mm offers excellent heat transmission, rapid heating, and even temperature distribution.
