HPLC Eluent Control Cap, PE, with electronic fill level control
Screw cap made for various barrel threads, with a freely rotating PTFE insert. The integrated measuring lance monitors the liquid level and prevents it from falling below a residual volume of approximately 10 %. As soon as the liquid level drops below the lance, the capacitive sensor triggers a signal, which is displayed on the connected Mini-Display. This prevents the barrels from running empty unnoticed and enables a timely container replacement.
Tube holders on the lance ensure that the tube is guided straight down to the bottom of the barrel and that the barrel is reliably emptied completely.
Each cap is equipped with a ventilation valve featuring a replacement indicator. Depending on the version, PFA fittings for capillaries with an outer diameter of 3.2 mm (UNF 1/4" 28G thread), PFA blind fittings for sealing unused ports on the HPLC cap, or GL18 and GL14 ports for laboratory screw connections are included. These ensure secure and tight fixation of various tubing diameters.
